Seventh-day Adventists are to proclaim the three angels’ messages.

Seventh-day Adventists have been given a work of the most solemn import-the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention. – Testimonies to the Church, vol. 9, p. 19

This is the final warning message that we’re to give.

As God’s witnesses, we have a message to bear to all the world. The Lord has many children who have never heard the truth for this time. God’s servants must give them the final warning. – Letter 121, March 15, 1905

Ellen White is quite clear on one way how to do that:

Let every Seventh-day Adventist ask himself, “What can I do to proclaim the third angel’s message?” Christ came to this world to give this message to His servant to give to the churches. It is to be proclaimed to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. How are we to give it? The distribution of our literature is one means by which the message is to be proclaimed. Let every believer scatter broadcast tracts and leaflets and books containing the message for this time. Colporteurs are needed who will go forth to circulate our publications everywhere. – The Southern Watchman, January 5, 1904

There are “other means”, but “books and tracts” is specifically mentioned in the Spirit of Prophecy.

So, let’s focus on that (for now).

The Great Controversy

This is the flagship of the SDA movement. It starts with the destruction of Jerusalem, talks about all the reformations in the last 2,000 years, and then talks about the present and the future, e.g. the second coming, the mark of the beast, etc.

Ellen White specifically mentions it.

The results of the circulation of this book [The Great Controversy] are not to be judged by what now appears. By reading it some souls will be aroused and will have courage to unite themselves at once with those who keep the commandments of God. But a much larger number who read it will not take their position until they see the very events taking place that are foretold in it. The fulfillment of some of the predictions will inspire faith that others also will come to pass, and when the earth is lightened with the glory of the Lord in the closing work, many souls will take their position on the commandments of God as the result of this agency. – Colporteur Ministry, p. 128/129

Steps to Christ

Steps to Christ is a wonderful book that discusses the entire plan of salvation. This book has many different layers, so you can essentially keep reading it over and over.

National Sunday Law

This book speaks about the mark of the beast, and is a good summary of The Great Controversy.

This book has actually been letterboxed to all of New Zealand, but some people still haven’t got it, and are eager to receive a copy nonetheless.

Tracts

If you can’t think of anything else to do (like me), then I can recommend letter boxing.

Unvarnished truth must be spoken, in leaflets and pamphlets, and these must be scattered like the leaves of autumn. -Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 231

Letter boxing is mostly frowned upon, but tracts do work. People read them, and it’s a great way of planting seeds.

In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. – Ecclesiastes 11:6 (KJV)

Testimonies

The last message to this world is a reflection of God’s character.

The last message of mercy to be given to the world is a revelation of His character of love. The children of God are to manifest His glory. In their own life and character they are to reveal what the grace of God has done for them. – Christ’s Object Lessons p. 415/416

What better way to do this then by either writing a testimony, or recording it on your smart phone? Waitac already has a lot of testimonies, and if you would like to add yours, please let us know.

Summary

If we work together as a church, God will pour out His Spirit (the Latter Rain, the refreshing of the Lord).

The great outpouring of the Spirit of God, which lightens the whole earth with His glory, will not come until we have an enlightened people, that know by experience what it means to be laborers together with God. When we have entire, wholehearted consecration to the service of Christ, God will recognize the fact by an outpouring of His Spirit without measure; but this will not be while the largest portion of the church are not laborers together with God. – Christian Service, p. 253.
