About Us
Waitac Church
Finding a church home can feel overwhelming in today’s world. While nothing is more important than developing a personal relationship with God, being part of a faith community is also an important part of the Christian journey. The church is God’s family — people from different backgrounds united in faith, purpose, and love.
At the West Auckland Adventist Community, we seek to follow the Bible’s guiding principles for faith and Christian living. Revelation 14:12 describes God’s people as those who “keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
We believe God’s commandments were given for the wellbeing of humanity — not as a burden, but as a foundation for a healthy and meaningful life. This includes the gift of the Sabbath, a sacred weekly time of rest, worship, and renewal established in the Fourth Commandment.
Above all, we believe salvation is a free gift of God, received through faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our hope is centred in Him — one Lord, one faith, one baptism — and a community committed to growing in grace together.
